A SPOOKY BOOK SWAP & COOKIE PARTY Saturday, October 3 1:00 to 3:00 PM Choose a book you enjoyed, wrap it up “Blind Date Style,” and add a short, spoiler-free description without revealing the title. Bring your mystery-wrapped book and some cookies to share, then head home with a surprise new read!
A CROW PARTY Saturday, October 10 1:00 to 3:00 PM For tweens and teens in grades 5 through 12. Come dressed in a fantasy-inspired costume and enjoy: A treasure swap, bracelets and bookmark making, a hot chocolate bar, & creative time. Bring five small trinkets to trade, such as charms, crystals, stickers, pins, buttons, keychains, tiny books, beads, rocks or other fun little treasures. Don’t have trinkets? You can purchase a swap ticket at the door. RSVP Required.

Our Story
Books & Beans began as a dream to create something meaningful, an inviting space built around stories, conversation, and connection. What started as a simple idea slowly grew into a cozy little shop, brought to life with the help of family, friends, and a love of books.
Today, Books & Beans is a welcoming corner in the Village of Amelia where people can slow down, browse the shelves, share a cup of coffee, and enjoy the comfort of a place that feels a little like home. Small in size but full of stories, the shop is a place to discover great books, enjoy a warm drink, and find unique gifts created by local artisans.
